Many homes built before the 1990s contain asbestos materials. Realtors encounter asbestos issues during showings, inspection discussions, and renovation conversations with clients. This module covers what asbestos is and why it was used in construction, where it is commonly found in older homes, health risks when materials are disturbed, renovation and demolition considerations, how to identify potential hazards during property viewings, and how to communicate property risks with clients professionally.
Realtor Ethics and Professional Conduct — 3 hours
Ethical decision making is central to professional real estate practice. This module covers your ethical responsibilities in real estate transactions, duty to clients and duty to the public, conflict of interest awareness and management, avoiding misrepresentation, ethical decision frameworks, and real-world real estate scenarios.
