MySafetyPrep is a digital learning provider based in British Columbia, Canada. We operate in compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) of British Columbia.

We collect only your name and email address. All payment data is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see your card details or billing information. We do not sell your personal information. You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your information at any time.

All payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not see, access, or store your credit card details, billing address, or any other payment information. That data goes directly to Stripe and is governed by their privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

Device and usage information — When you visit our website, we automatically collect:

Your IP address and approximate location
Browser type, version, and operating system
Pages visited, time spent on pages, and how you navigate the site
The website or search term that referred you to our site
Date and time of your visit

Account information — If you create an account to access our courses, we collect your name, email address, and course progress.

LearnPress / WordPress — our learning management system processes course access and completion data to manage your account and deliver course content.

Course completion records and certificates — retained indefinitely to allow reissuance if required

Right of access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Right of correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information
Right of deletion — request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records
Right to withdraw consent — withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us
Right to complain — lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the BC Information and Privacy Commissioner

ℹ Note on deletion requests
Canadian tax law requires us to retain purchase records for a minimum of 7 years. A deletion request will remove your personal information from our marketing lists and non-essential records, but we cannot delete financial transaction records within this retention period.

Minors

Our website and products are intended for adults — specifically regulated professionals and adult learners. Our website is not directed at individuals under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us at support@mysafetyprep.com and we will delete it promptly.

Section 10

Do Not Track

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" feature. Our website does not currently alter its data collection practices in response to Do Not Track signals, as there is no consistent industry standard for how such signals should be interpreted.

You can limit tracking through your browser's cookie settings and by opting out of targeted advertising as described in Section 6.
