Our courses are designed for regulated professionals who need to meet a specific professional requirement — a certification exam, mandatory ethics training, annual CPD credits, or compliance certification. Every course is built for a specific requirement, not adapted from something generic.
Yes. While we are based in Canada and our primary markets are Canada and the United States, our courses are accessible worldwide. Our safety certification exam prep (CSP, ASP, CHST) is used by candidates internationally. All prices are listed in Canadian dollars, which typically offers strong value for US and international buyers.

No — and it is important to understand this before purchasing. BCSP and BCRSP do not release exam questions, and the actual exams cannot be replicated by any provider. - Lawyers and legal professionals — 4 CPD hours
- Social workers — 5 CE hours
- Professional Engineers (P.Eng) — 3 CPD hours, all 12 Canadian associations
- HR professionals — 1.0 HRCI ethics credit
Yes. A certificate of completion is issued immediately after you finish the course. It includes your name, course title, provider, completion date, and the number of hours or credits earned — all the information typically required for self-reporting to your regulatory body.
It depends on your profession and province. Our CPA ethics course is accepted by all provincial CPA bodies across Canada. Our engineering ethics course is accepted by all 12 Canadian provincial and territorial engineering associations. Our safety ethics course meets the requirements of BCRSP, BCSP, and BGC.
For lawyers and social workers, acceptance rules vary by provincial regulatory body — we recommend confirming with your specific regulator before enrolling. Contact us if you are unsure and we will help you confirm.
Yes. All ethics courses are fully online and self-paced. There are no fixed sessions, no scheduled times, and no deadlines within the course itself. Complete it on your schedule, on any device.

CPD packages and compliance training
We currently offer:
- BC Housing CPD Package — 20 CPD points for licensed residential builders (four BC Housing-approved courses)
- WorkSafeBC Level 1 Foundational Asbestos Awareness Training — WorkSafeBC-authorized, includes the official final exam, certificate valid for 3 years
Yes. The BC Housing CPD Package includes four BC Housing-approved courses that together total 20 CPD points — the full annual requirement for licensed residential builders. You receive a separate certificate for each course to submit individually in the Licensed Residential Builders Portal.
BC Housing does not allow you to repeat the same courses from the same provider in consecutive renewal cycles. We release new BC Housing-approved courses annually — so you can return each year for a fresh set of 20 CPD points. Bookmark our BC Housing course page and check back at renewal time.
Yes. The WorkSafeBC Level 1 Foundational Asbestos Awareness Training includes the official WorkSafeBC Level 1 Foundational Awareness final exam at no additional cost. There are no extra fees or third-party testing required. Your WorkSafeBC-issued certificate is valid for three years from completion.

Course access and extensions
You receive instant access immediately after purchase. For online courses, you can log in and begin right away. For downloadable products (study guides, practice questions, safety templates), you will receive a download link immediately after payment is confirmed.
Online courses and exam prep products are accessible for 6 months from the date of purchase. Downloadable products (PDFs, Word documents) have no expiry — once downloaded they are yours to keep.
Yes. Free extensions are available for our exam prep study guides and practice question banks. If you need more time before your exam, contact us at support@mysafetyprep.com and we will extend your access. There is no charge for extensions.
Yes. All courses are fully mobile-friendly and work on any internet-connected device — desktop, tablet, or smartphone. Downloadable materials can be opened on any device that supports PDF or Microsoft Word files.

Certificates and documentation
Certificates are issued immediately on completion of the course or assessment. You can download your certificate as a PDF the moment you finish. For exam prep products, no certificate is issued — the guarantee applies to the bundle purchase, not to a completion certificate.
Every certificate includes your name, the course title, the provider (MySafetyPrep), the completion date, and the number of hours or credits earned. This is the information required by most regulatory bodies for self-reporting and CPD audits.
Yes. If you need your certificate reissued for any reason, email us at support@mysafetyprep.com with your order details and the name of the course. We will reissue it promptly.
Yes. Contact us with your order number and we will send you an invoice suitable for expense claims or employer reimbursement.

Study guides and practice questions are delivered as PDF files. Safety manual and site-specific safety plan templates are delivered in Microsoft Word (.docx) format. If you are having trouble opening a file, ensure you have the appropriate software installed — Adobe Acrobat Reader (free) for PDFs, or Microsoft Word for .docx files.
