Exam-only renewal is available if your certificate expires within the next 12 months, or expired within the last 12 months. If it expired earlier, you must retake the full training.
What you’ll need to write the exam
→A computer (not a phone or tablet) with a working webcam
→Microsoft Teams, with screen sharing
→Government-issued photo ID
→Your certificate number and expiry date
→A quiet, private space and 60 minutes free

Weekdays: 12 pm to 1 pm and 3 pm to 9 pm
Weekends: 8 am to 9 pm

Pick your exam time. Right after payment you reach a booking calendar. Choose a session, select your level (1, 2, 3 or S), and enter your certificate number and expiry date.

Teams and employers
Book renewal exams for your team: 2 or more workers
$69.99 per worker, any mix of levels, no accounts to set up. Every worker writes their own session, so each one needs their own time slot.

Pay once for your team. Choose the number of workers at checkout. Make sure everyone is eligible first (see the box above).

Book each worker a time. You land on a booking calendar. Book them yourself or forward the link so workers pick their own slot.

Which exam am I booking?
Level 1: Foundational Asbestos Awareness
Renewal exam for Level 1 certificate holders.
Level 2: Asbestos Safety
Renewal exam for Level 2 holders. No practical assessment for an exam-only renewal.
Level 3: Asbestos Safety Leader
Renewal exam for supervisors and leaders who hold Level 3.
Level S: Surveyor Safety
Renewal exam for surveyors who identify and sample asbestos-containing materials.

Free rewrite included. If you don’t pass, you get one free rewrite, booked as a separate session. If you don’t pass the second time, you’ll need to retake the full training before you can renew.
